Golden Gate Park Map
From the Golden Gate Bridge, take the 19th Avenue exit and go South on Park Presidio Drive. Make a right at Cabrillo, an immediate right on Funston, and the next right on Balboa. Continue to 10th Avenue and make a right into Golden Gate Park. Make a left onto John F. Kennedy Drive at the intersection, and a right onto Concourse Drive at the next intersection. Keep to your left and you'll see the Academy of Sciences
From the South Bay take 280 North to the 19th Avenue exit. Proceed about 4 1/4 miles down 19th Avenue. Cross Lincoln Way and make the first right into the Golden Gate Park onto Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. Proceed about 1/2 mile and make a left turn into the Academy of Science parking lot. The Academy will be on your right.
On MUNI The #44 O'Shaughnessy will bring you to the Academy's doorstep (or just across the way at the M. H. de Young Museum. On the south side of the Park, the #71 Haight-Noriega takes you to 9th Avenue and Lincoln Way where you can walk into the Park and to the Academy. The N Judah Metro will bring you to 9th Avenue and Irving. Walk one block north on 9th to Lincoln Way and continue into the Park. If you're on BART, take the N Judah from one of the Market Street Metro/Bart stations. The #5 Fulton and the #21 Hayes will take you to the 8th and Fulton entrance to the Park on its north side. Walk into the Park, make a quick right on John Kennedy Drive and an immediate left into the Music Concourse where you'll find the Academy and Laserium.
